Quick Dose: What’s the best way to treat ear or nose hair?

Main Article Content

Men, this one’s for you. With age, your hair may start to thin on top, but other hair may sprout in different unwanted places. These new hairs happen to all men as they get older, and trimming them is an easy way to help you shave a few years off your look.

If you plan to do the maintenance at home, make sure to properly sterilize your grooming tools before using them to avoid possible skin infections from bacteria. You should also avoid sharing tools with other people whenever possible.

Professional grooming experts are another resource, but be sure to confirm that their equipment is sterilized and they have all of the appropriate licensures to help minimize your risk of an unwanted cosmetic outcome with long-term consequences.

If you’re not getting the results you want from these options, or you are concerned about a possible medical issue, consider talking with your primary care physician or dermatologist.
